Writer’s Arc

You Are an Artist… Own It.

The Writer’s Arc is an 8-week generative, reflective workshop series designed to help Black and Brown women (gender-expansive) writers explore who they are as artists. We also explore how lived experiences shape and misshape what and how they create.

Through a carefully sequenced experience of guided somatic, trauma-informed excavation, and multi-genre prompt-driven writing practices, participants are invited to move beyond limiting expectation and into alignment with their true writer as artist voice.

Explore It

This isn’t about mastering craft. It’s about engaging the questions that live to shape your work:

  1. What are you hesitant to say?

  2. Who are you writing for—and who do you write to?

  3. What ideas, habits, or histories are still misshaping your process?

  4. What kind of stories would you tell if you were not afraid of disappointing, angering, or hurting others?
