The Customizable Writing Workshop Experience is an 8-week writing and publishing pathway for groups ready to turn shared stories, lived experiences, professional insight, community history, or creative work into a tangible publication.
This experience is designed for 12–15 writers and requires a clear commitment of time, attention, and financial investment. Over eight weeks, participants write, share, revise, and prepare original work for a professionally published chapbook, collection, anthology, and/or audiobook.
This is not a one-time workshop. It is a guided creative and publishing process for groups ready to produce a physical body of work.
This pathway is a strong fit for professional associations, leadership cohorts, specialized wellness and support communities, creative retreat alumni, cultural groups, legacy families, historical preservation groups, and community organizations with a shared purpose or story to preserve.
The final publication may serve as a legacy project, advocacy tool, thought leadership asset, creative archive, or meaningful record of a community’s voice.
The 8-week experience includes facilitated writing sessions, guided feedback, revision support, editorial direction, contributor preparation, publication planning, and an all-inclusive publishing package.
Publishing support may include federal copyright and Library of Congress filing, ISBN purchase for all formats, cover design, formatting, distribution, royalties management, book ordering support, marketing and PR materials, and SOMO website placement.
Pricing begins with a 12-writer physical chapbook or collection package and is confirmed after the Community Collaboration Call™.
A reservation payment is required to begin the planning process and will be applied to the 25% deposit required before work begins on the curated writing and publication experience.
