Put the Men on Pause: Generative Writing AWA Somatic-Informed Woprkshop
This transformative generative writing workshop is led by Vickey EllaShwn Brown, an AWA certified facilitator with over 25 years of experience in guiding writers from all walks of life to deeper engagement with the written words. She is a seven-time published author, founder of the Southern Momentum Publishing House, a collaborative community based press dedicated to amplifying the voices of Southern women writers with emphasis on Black and Brown women, as well as disabled, elderly, LGBTQIA+. As an active participant of the international writing organization, Women's Fiction Writers Association and VP Elect of the DEI Committee, Vickey is dedicated to professional growth and high standards for the literary community. She is also an affiliate of Amherst Writers & Artist, as well as the Fellowship of the Griots where she has facilitated generative workshops during their Weekend Word offerings.
