Decolonizing the Language of the Erotic — FAQ

Why is this workshop priced at $4,800?

This is a 10-month, high-touch, transformational container led by an educator with 28+ years of experience, a Master’s in Curriculum Design, and certification in the Amherst Writers & Artists method.

Your tuition covers:

  • 80 hours of live, trauma-informed facilitation

  • Curated readings, prompts, and somatic practices to support your voice

  • Publication opportunity in The Esoteric Erotic Literary Collective Journal

  • Access to community writing time and affirmation-based feedback

  • A sacred, culturally specific space designed for the liberation of Black & Brown women’s voices

This is more than a class. It’s a creative healing rite of passage.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available to fit your capacity and commitment.
Most participants choose monthly installments. Extended plans can be arranged.

What if I can’t afford the full tuition?

We offer three tiers to honor different economic realities:

Tier Levels:

  • Sovereign $5,800 For those with abundant income/resources or professional development funding.

  • Supported $4,800 For those with stable income and are fully able to invest in themselves.

  • Community Access $3,800 For those with sufficient income and need the community to invest in them.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. The $350 deposit is non-refundable. It secures your place in this intimate cohort and honors the preparation that begins the moment you say yes.

Is this only for professional writers?

Not at all. This is for any woman or femme ready to reclaim her voice—whether she’s been published, writing in private journals, or just beginning. Your story matters, and your presence is enough.

What will I walk away with?

  • A restored relationship with your creative voice

  • Writing that feels true—not performative

  • Kinship and sisterhood with other women writers

  • Tools and rituals to sustain your writing practice beyond the program

  • The chance to see your work published in a collective journal
