Writing Through Flow
-
Surrender
Let go of control.
Flow begins when you release the need to “get it right.” Stop trying to write what sounds polished or perfect. Instead, surrender to what wants to be written — even if it arrives messy, fragmented, or strange. Let the unknown lead.Flow doesn’t come from force — it comes from trust.
-
Be Open
Create space in the body and mind.
Open yourself physically (deep breath, loosen shoulders, drop the jaw) and spiritually. Flow needs space to enter. Let language come from the womb, the gut, the ancestors, not just the intellect. Say aloud:
“I am open to what wants to arrive.”You are a channel, not a container.

Be Grateful
Thank the words, even the ones that feel unfinished.
Gratitude keeps the channel open. At the end of your writing, whisper or write:
“Thank you for arriving.”
This ritual anchors you in trust — that more will come tomorrow, and you don’t have to grip it tightly.Your words are living things. Honour them with thanks.
